Agama Lodge - We stayed 3 nights in this desert paradise. The staff are incredible and our overall stay was very comfortable. The food is amazing and we were very sad to leave!
Best place - First class lodge: location, room, restaurant, Friendliness of the staff. Next time we will stay some days more!
Even in thin air you find a super special corner... - Good Welcoming and organization, cleanliness but above all a room that looked like an apartment including terrace with sun loungers on the floor and above for the sun or... read more to see the starry sky. Dinner and breakfast satisfactory although given the location it is difficult to have everything fresh, but overall better than other lodges visited. A curiosity: in the grounds of the lodge we breed warthogs that move freely without danger near the houses.

The Ideal Base for Exploring Naukluft - Agama Lodge turned out to be a fantastic choice and, in many ways, exceeded our expectations. We would happily recommend it – both because of the comfortable bungalows and the... read more excellent food.
The location between Solitaire and Sesriem couldn’t be better for exploring the region. Naukluft National Park is within easy reach, and despite the lodge’s remote setting, you can get to all the main attractions without any hassle – especially Sossusvlei. At the same time, the lodge itself gives you a real sense of space and peace as soon as you arrive.
The bungalows were nice. They are spacious and spotless. The minimalist design fits into the desert environment. We especially loved the private rooftop terrace, which offers stunning views of the landscape and, at night, the most incredible starry sky – something you just don’t get in places affected by light pollution.
If there is one small drawback, it’s that the rooms can’t really be darkened. The curtain at the entrance is quite thin, and the window doesn’t have any blackout option, which might bother light-sensitive sleepers.
What makes the lodge truly special, though, is the atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and attentive without being intrusive, and you immediately feel at ease. The pool area is another highlight, beautifully set up with sweeping desert views – absolutely magical at sunset.
The food also deserves a mention. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a good variety and consistently fresh ingredients. Compared to other lodges we stayed at in Namibia, the quality here stood out. On top of that, the drink prices are very fair.
Overall, Agama Lodge strikes a perfect balance between comfort, excellent service, and the unique beauty of the Namibian desert. For us, it was an ideal place to relax after a long day of exploring, and we would return.
Superb accommodation - Magnificent location , magical sunsets, spacious room with great views, terrace and bed on the roof to observe the stars, quiet, clean.

The infinity pool is appreciated upon return after a day of activity.
We stayed two nights, we wouldn't mind prolonging.

Desert oasis - Our 3 day stay at Agama Lodge was nothing short of AMAZING. From the staff to the deluxe room which was massive - everything was perfect. There is limited food... read more but that’s understandable as we came during the low season. Special shoutout to front desk Helena for answering all our questions. Silva and Gift for the wonderful sundowner and Sossusvlei tour. Silva really knows this place so well - showed us how to track animals etc. We wanted to do the Scorpion tour as well because we had such great experience during the sundowner but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. Troy and Thomas and everyone else at the restaurant were attentive and helpful. Kapana pizza was so good! Thomas even helped us try to find the warthogs that roams the lodge regularly. Overall if we ever have to come back to Namibia we would consider coming back here. I didn’t mind the choppy WiFi connection because I was there to disconnect anyways.
